Elections have been completely revamped in Lex Talionis II.

Republics Edit

You can only influence which candidate in chosen during elections, and the chance of a ruler getting re-elected is based on current RT, how well your country is doing, the opinion of the voters and if you have chosen to support him during the elections. Also candidates now have quasi-random stats based on their background.

Elective Monarchy Edit

Works similar to republics, except rulers rule for life. Also if a ruler of a foreign dynasty is elected a personal union will form.

Colonial Nations Edit

The colonial overlord is given a choice to appoint a noble, appoint an administrator, a diplomat, a military man or extend the current viceroy's term (if there is one). However nobles will get upset if you don't appoint a noble or extend the current viceroys term.
